EMSA (European Medical Students Association) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization representing medical students from all over Europe. Currently active in more than 30 countries with over 120 medical faculties, EMSA is recognized by international organizations such as the United Nations, World Health Organization, European Parliament, and the Council of Europe. EMSA Nakhchivan is a local branch of EMSA with international connections, created with the support of the students and faculty of the Medical Faculty of Nakhchivan State University. Our goal is to contribute to the overall development of medical students in every sense (workshops, improving scientific writing, training, twinning programs, social programs, etc.) and to represent our university in Europe.
Our Goal
Directing medical students to participate in mobility and exchange programs in Europe. Advocating for human rights in society and promoting them actively, as well as increasing awareness of ethical values in healthcare throughout Europe. Encouraging medical students to participate in the development of the medical education system that develops new educational technologies, educational philosophy, and international collaboration. Encouraging medical students to increase public awareness of health conditions and mental health, and promoting conscious lifestyle choices. Encouraging medical students to be pioneers in promoting preventive medicine, health education, and the adoption of a healthy and active lifestyle by the masses. Strengthening theoretical and practical skills through education and research for medical students, increasing the value of medical science, and encouraging reading and publishing scientific articles.

You can view and download our various projects such as "Mind Maps" to make the education of medical students easier. You can send your project proposals, ideas, suggestions, and feedback to us through our website. MEDINUS MAGAZINE
EMSA Nakhchivan has established the MEDINUS Magazine to increase the writing skills and scientific interest of students. In the MEDINUS magazine, articles of the faculty's academics and highlights of student scientific works will be published annually or semi-annually, as well as information about the latest developments in healthcare and information about the work done by EMSA Nakhchivan.
